Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Roy, Utah seeks a Principal/Sr. Principal Project Manager to oversee Sentinel program activities on-site, coordinating with PM, contracts, planning, and engineering teams.

You will monitor schedules, EV performance, and supplier interactions to ensure quality and timely delivery. The role requires DoD Secret clearance, 5–8+ years leading projects, and strong MS Office/PM tools proficiency.

Competenze

• Principal Project Manager: 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree; 3 years with a Masters; 1 year with PhD; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Sr. Principal Project Manager: 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree; 6 years with a Masters; 4 years with PhD; 4 additional years may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years.
• At least 4 years of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.
• Demonstrated track record/ experience in project management/ execution and closeout.
• Skilled use of Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project).
• Demonstrated knowledge of Project Management principles.

Mansioni

• Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as a liaison between project management, subcontracts/contracts management, planning, project team, and line management.
• Primary focus will be support of Sentinel products coming from approved suppliers at Roy, UT.
• Review status of projects and Earned Value performance; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
• Assesses project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
• Support sub-contracting effort either via IWO or supplier.
• Help support risk and opportunity management for the team.
• Help organize and plan out summit meetings and develop agendas with the assistance of engineering team.
• Integrate yourself with other project managers on other IPTs.
• Work closely with Engineering team and Global Supply Chain (GSC) to translate engineering needs to PO generation.
• Support leadership with supplier deliverable timelines and PO execution.
• Independently demonstrates the skill and ability to perform fairly complex professional tasks.
