Job summary

INW Phoenix Formulations in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician (1st Shift) to help maintain product quality on the production floor. The role requires on-site work with emphasis on accurate inspections, sensory checks, and adherence to GMPs and SOPs.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented, able to work with minimal supervision, and committed to safety and quality. Prior experience in food or supplement manufacturing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Mathematical skills: accuracy with arithmetic, decimals and percentages.
• Language skills: read and comprehend instructions and hold basic conversations in English.
• Must be able to taste and visually inspect product for consistency.

Responsibilities

• Support Operations with accurate inspections and sample testing of in-process bulk and finished products.
• Inspect production rooms for cleanliness, equipment safety and function.
• Perform ATP and Allergen Swabbing.
• Ensure all products and materials meet quality specifications and customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean work area and equipment.
• Perform monthly audits.
• Follow directions from QA Manager, Supervisor and/or Lead and adhere to GMPs/SOPs.
