INW Phoenix Formulations in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician (1st Shift) to help maintain product quality on the production floor. The role requires on-site work with emphasis on accurate inspections, sensory checks, and adherence to GMPs and SOPs.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented, able to work with minimal supervision, and committed to safety and quality. Prior experience in food or supplement manufacturing is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Perform ATP and Allergen Swabbing.
• Ensure all products and materials meet quality specifications and customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean work area and equipment.
• Perform monthly audits.
• Follow directions from QA Manager, Supervisor and/or Lead and adhere to GMPs/SOPs.

What would the job be like? The main duties of a Quality Assurance person are the following but not limited to:

Support production work, check products using your senses (like sight and smell), and inspect items during and after production to make sure they are correct and have no defects. Also, make sure all paperwork is filled out completely and correctly.

This position works on the production floor closely with production teams to ensure product quality.

Work Schedule:

• 1st Shift, Monday - Thursday, 5:00am - 3:30pm (occasional overtime on Fridays and Saturday may be required)

Essential Job Responsibilities – will include, but are not limited to:

• Support Operations Departments with performing accurate and timely inspections, sample (taste and smell) testing of all in process bulk and finished products
• Inspect production rooms for cleanliness, equipment safety and function.
• Preform ATP and Allergen Swabbing
• Ensure all products and materials meet quality specifications and customer requirements.
• Maintain clean work area and equipment always
• Perform monthly audits
• Accept directions and follow instructions of QA Manager, Supervisor and/or Lead
• Retain a clear understanding of the company GMPs and SOPs
• Follow all safety policies and ensure work environment is free of safety hazards and all employees are working safely

Minimum Qualifications:

• Mathematical Skills – Accuracy with arithmetic and subtraction, decimals, and percentages
• Language Skills – Must be able to read and comprehend instructions and hold general conversations in English
• Must possess ability to taste and visually inspectproductfor consistency.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Bilingual a plus but not required
• Skilled in monitoring, analyzing, critical thinking, and active listening
• Demonstrate attention to detail, orientation to quality, problem sensitivity, problem solving, and ability to take initiative
• Knowledge of food production processing, cGMP’s, regulatory environments, and basic computer data entry
