Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking a QC Inspection Technician IV for 1st shift in Tempe, AZ. The role involves advanced incoming, in-process, and final inspections of precision components to meet engineering drawings and customer specs.

You will operate and interpret results from CMM, vision systems, height gauges, micrometers, calipers, and other metrology tools, while documenting findings in traceable quality records and supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• High-precision QC inspection experience required.
• Ability to read GD&T, drawings, and specs with accuracy.
• Experience with metrology tools and data integrity essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex dimensional, visual, and final inspections.
• Use CMM, vision systems, micrometers, calipers, gauges for measurements.
• Interpret drawings and tolerances to determine conformity.
• Document results in quality systems with traceable records.
• Coach peers and participate in continuous improvement.
