Job summary

Overwatch Imaging is seeking a Sensor Autonomy Engineer to design and implement software and firmware that turns sensor data into real-time intelligence for Tactical Applications. You will work hands-on with automated imaging systems, developing onboard autonomy, image processing, AI algorithms, and embedded drivers within tight SWaP constraints.

The role demands leadership in software development, mentoring junior engineers, and delivering robust, scalable software for mission-critical airborne

Qualifications

• Formal education in software engineering or related fields.
• 8+ years of experience in software for aerospace/imagery systems.
• Experience with image processing and autonomous systems.

Responsibilities

• 3D math, coordinates, vectors, rotations; state estimation and motion planning.
• Develop geolocation, rectification, mosaicking, and image registration with map data.
• Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications; write clean, efficient code.
