Qualifications

• PhD or MS with relevant industry experience; BS with substantial field experience also acceptable.
• Strong background in robot perception, localization, and mapping (SLAM).
• Hands-on experience deploying perception software in field robotics environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain perception systems for autonomous robots in real-world terrains.
• Develop sensor fusion for LiDAR, cameras, RADAR, and inertial data.
• Deploy perception software on physical robotic platforms; debug on-robot issues.
• Improve robustness and scalability; collaborate across autonomy, controls, and platform teams.
• Work with engineers, researchers, and operators to define perception requirements.
