Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Workplace Research and Strategy Consultant in Sunnyvale to support workplace strategy, occupancy planning, and research initiatives across a global real estate portfolio.

You will partner with clients and internal stakeholders to understand space needs, analyze utilization trends, and translate findings into concise reports, dashboards, and executive readouts. The role emphasizes data-driven decisions and portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in workplace strategy or related fields.
• Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Knowledge of workplace research methodologies (interviews, surveys, focus groups).
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word proficiency.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI/Tableau.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support workplace strategy, occupancy planning, and research across a global portfolio.
• Conduct post-occupancy evaluations, pre-programming studies, and workplace experiments.
• Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to understand workplace needs and space trends.
• Coordinate surveys, interviews, focus groups, usability testing, and data collection.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends and recommendations.
• Translate findings into reports, executive presentations, dashboards, and readouts.
• Develop workplace performance metrics and forecast space requirements.
• Collaborate with Real Estate, Facilities, Workplace Experience, Design, and Technology teams.
• Present findings to leadership and stakeholders.
• Apply data-driven approaches to improve workplace performance and decisions.
