Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Sr. Workplace Research and Strategy Consultant in Sunnyvale to lead data-driven research and strategic recommendations across a global real estate portfolio.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate occupancy, utilization, employee experience, and technology pilots, translating findings into actionable insights for portfolio planning and workplace innovation. The role requires 5+ years in related fields, strong analytical and presentation skills, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years in workplace strategy, research, or related field.
• Experience with qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-methods research.
• Knowledge of workplace research methodologies (interviews, surveys, focus groups, observations, usability testing).
• Strong project management and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience translating data into executive-level presentations and reports.

Responsibilities

• Support workplace strategy and occupancy planning across a global portfolio.
• Conduct post-occupancy evaluations, program studies, experiments, and pilots.
• Partner with clients and stakeholders to understand needs and utilization trends.
• Coordinate surveys, interviews, focus groups, observations, usability testing, and data collection.
• Analyze data to identify trends and actionable recommendations.
• Translate findings into concise reports, dashboards, and stakeholder readouts.
• Develop metrics to evaluate workplace performance and space utilization.
• Forecast space requirements and support planning aligned with business goals.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting tools to ensure on-track delivery.
• Create visual displays communicating workplace and occupancy data clearly.
• Collaborate with Real Estate, Facilities, Workplace Experience, Design, and Tech teams.
• Present findings to leadership and stakeholders.
• Apply data-driven approaches to improve performance and decisions.
