Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Sr. Occupancy Planning Manager in Sunnyvale to lead a team focused on space planning, data analysis, reporting, and metric interpretation for client needs.

The role supports Moves, Additions and Changes, overseeing space design, construction, and moving services. The candidate will guide staff, manage capital projects, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering high-quality facility management reports and insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated information and convey performance expectations.
• Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with a curious mindset.
• Advanced math skills for complex calculations (percentages, fractions, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive client relationships and communicate reports.
• Research new processes and technology to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate facility inspections for quality assurance and compliance.
• Produce and maintain facility management reports.
• Provide formal supervision to employees including coaching and evaluations.
• Coordinate daily team activities and set schedules.
