MGM Resorts is seeking a Workforce Management Specialist in Las Vegas to manage high-volume scheduling, ensure accurate timekeeping, and partner with department leaders to anticipate staffing needs. This role focuses on balancing staffing efficiency with guest service and compliance.

The position offers exposure across MGM Resorts properties and an opportunity to impact daily operations through expert Workforce Management practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in workforce management or scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to complete daily scheduling tasks, including leaves and callouts.
• Serve as subject matter expert on Workforce Management processes.
• Create scheduling solutions reflecting business demands and staffing levels.
• Suggest scheduling changes and new business models.
• Ensure scheduling adheres to labor agreements and ethical practices.
• Balance optimal scheduling with service expectations and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor system issues and downtime; communicate findings.
• Track KPIs such as Service Level, Occupancy, Abandon rates, ASA and AHT.
