Job summary

Worley seeks a Senior Workface Planner to transform project plans into executable field activities, ensuring work packages are ready for execution before reaching the field. You will lead planning across engineering, procurement, construction, and project controls to drive safety, schedule performance, and cost efficiency.

You will collaborate with Construction Managers, Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams to align resources, optimize sequencing, and improve productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in construction planning, workface planning, project controls, or related functions.
• Experience with EPC/EPCM, industrial, power, chemicals, energy, resources, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of CII Workface Planning principles and work packaging methodologies.
• Experience developing and managing construction work packages and execution plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead workface planning activities for construction, maintenance, turnaround, or capital project execution.
• Develop and maintain construction work packages to support field execution.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and project controls to ensure readiness before field release.
• Support construction management in execution strategies, sequencing, and work packaging methodologies.
• Ensure labor, materials, equipment, permits, drawings, specs, and docs are available for planned work.
• Identify and remove constraints affecting productivity and readiness.
• Review engineering deliverables to determine work package requirements and priorities.
• Coordinate with procurement and materials to ensure critical materials/equipment availability.
• Support workforce planning, labor forecasting, resource allocation and productivity initiatives.
• Monitor work package readiness and maintain readiness reports and metrics.
