Job summary

Bechtel’s Workface Planner role focuses on coordinating workface planning to support safe, efficient, and predictable project delivery. The role collaborates with engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractors to develop Installation Work Packages (IWPs) and Advance Work Packaging (AWP) processes.

It also drives CWE initiatives and oversees turnover activities for the customer. The position requires knowledge of AWP, IWP development, and construction sequencing, with experience in

Qualifications

• Required bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with CW E and CWE workflows is highly desirable
• Knowledge of Bechtel-standard tools and processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, sequence, and maintain IWPs and related workface planning deliverables to support safe, efficient field execution.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractors to align priorities and resolve constraints.
• Support construction execution planning, including sequencing, labor loading, material and equipment requirements, and area-based execution priorities.
• Review drawings, specifications, schedules, material status, and project controls information for package readiness.
• Oversee CWE initiatives by identifying barriers, improving planning processes, and contributing to training and reporting.
