Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its growing Jersey City practice. The attorney will handle a heavy and complex caseload and hearings, contributing to a new statewide workers’ compensation practice.

Qualifications

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Active NJ State Bar member in good standing.
• Minimum 3+ years of workers' compensation experience.
• Ability to manage high volume of cases and hearings.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of cases and hearings.
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, demands, motions, and memoranda.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Interaction with expert witnesses including conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits.
• Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
