Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its Jersey City practice. The attorney will manage a heavy, complex caseload and hearings, contributing to building a statewide workers’ compensation practice.

Qualifications

Law degree from an accredited law school.
Active NJ State Bar Association member in good standing.
Minimum 3+ years of workers' compensation experience.
Ability to manage a high volume of cases and hearings.
Excellent client service and communication skills.
Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

Day-to-day handling of cases and hearings.
Drafting and filing of litigation documents: pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions and memoranda.
Guide clients through the case process.
Interaction with expert witnesses, including conferences and reports.
Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
