Job summary

Morgan & Morgan in Delaware seeks an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its expanding practice. The attorney will handle a heavy, complex caseload and hearings, helping build out a statewide workers’ compensation practice.

You will manage depositions, motions, pleadings and client guidance, while working with expert witnesses and a collaborative, resourceful team. This is a high‑volume, high‑impact role at a leading firm.

Qualifications

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
• Active DE State Bar in good standing.
• Minimum 3+ years of workers' compensation experience.
• Ability to manage high volume of cases and hearings.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of cases and hearings.
• Drafting and filing litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions and memoranda.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Interaction with expert witnesses including conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits.
• Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
