Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. in Providence, RI seeks an experienced Workers’ Compensation Attorney to handle a heavy, complex caseload and hearings.

You will manage day-to-day casework, draft pleadings and discovery, guide clients through the process, collaborate with experts, and appear at depositions, mediations, and court proceedings. A law degree and RI Bar admission are required. The firm offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Law degree from an accredited law school.
• Active RI State Bar Association member in good standing.
• Minimum 3+ years of workers’ compensation experience.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of cases and hearings.
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memorandum.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Interaction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits.
• Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
