Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of full-time (or equivalent part-time) investigatory or regulatory work experience.
• Bachelor's degree may substitute for up to two years of required experience.
• Strong teamwork and ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial contact with agencies and maintain ongoing communication throughout the life of the claim.
• Recognize potential Third Party/Subrogation cases.
• Maintain records and payments accurately.
• Process medical bills at DIA rates.
• Manage caseload of lost time and medical-only claims per M.G.L. Chapter 152.
• Prepare cases for litigation when necessary.
• Calculate indemnity rates, travel reimbursements, end-of-compensation dates, and related adjustments.
• Create and monitor a diary system.
• Conduct claim reviews/training for internal and external customers.
• Work on special projects as assigned by management.
