Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; 5+ years in workers' compensation claims management or 10+ years in a professional claims role without a degree.
Comprehensive knowledge of applicable state laws and industry standards.
Ability to attend industry events and promote the company.
Strong negotiation and analytical skills; detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of assigned workers' compensation claims with moderate supervision.
Verify coverage, investigate, and resolve complex claims; establish and maintain reserves up to $75,000.
Prepare reports, communicate with injured workers, agents, customers and co-workers.
Support Return to Wellness initiatives and return-to-work guidelines with stakeholders.
Contribute to monthly meetings and special projects as needed.
