Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least five years' workers’ compensation claims experience.
• Advanced certification or training preferred.
• Strong knowledge of applicable state laws and industry standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn new software.
• Excellent negotiation, organization, and time management.
• Empathic listener with professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of assigned workers’ compensation claims under moderate supervision.
• Verify coverage, investigate, and resolve complex claims for large customers.
• Establish and maintain accurate reserves up to $75,000.
• Prepare reports and forms per regulations and procedures.
• Identify subrogation potential and communicate with stakeholders.
• Contribute to Return to Wellness initiatives and meetings.
