Job summary

ProAssurance is seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Claims Manager to handle complex claims for large customers, combining empathy with rigorous analysis. You will verify coverage, investigate, and resolve cases under moderate supervision while maintaining accurate reserves up to $75,000.

The role supports the Eastern Alliance line and offers hybrid work with in-office Carmel, IN visits about twice a month, or remote work from Kentucky, with a competitive benefits program.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree and minimum five years’ experience in workers’ compensation claims management, or ten years in professional claims capacity without a degree.
• Knowledge of state laws and industry standards.
• Ability to attend industry functions to promote the Company.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of assigned workers’ compensation claims under moderate supervision.
• Verify coverage, investigate, and resolve complex claims for large customers.
• Establish and maintain accurate case reserves up to $75,000; adjust as needed.
