Job summary

Amerisure Insurance seeks a Senior Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster for a remote/hybrid role. The position handles medium‑complexity indemnity claims, collaborates with agents, policyholders and internal stakeholders, and investigates losses to determine coverage and settlements.

Responsibilities include developing action plans, evaluating damages, maintaining reserves, and coordinating with counsel on litigated claims. Requires travel up to 10% and licensing as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Three years of experience handling medium-complexity workers’ compensation indemnity claims.
• AIC or SLA certification preferred.
• Ability to obtain appropriate state licensing as required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with agents, policyholders, and internal stakeholders on medium-complexity claims.
• Investigate losses, identify coverage, determine compensability, review pleadings.
• Develop action plans to conclude claims and settle per guidelines.
• Establish and maintain reserves for each claim.
