Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a senior Testing Lead to elevate the Workday HCM testing function. The role owns test strategy and governance, performs hands-on test execution, and coordinates UAT while delivering concise updates to executive stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has senior UAT leadership experience, Workday knowledge, and a track record in data-heavy testing, migrations, and integrations. Remote work is supported and W2 consultants receive standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Senior-level Testing Lead with leadership and hands-on execution.
• End-to-end UAT leadership and coordination.
• Experience with Workday, preferably within HCM.
• Experience with data-heavy testing (validation, migration, integration).
• Ability to present to C-level sponsors.
• Manual QA and UAT coordination with cross-functional collaboration.
• Ownership of deliverables and preventing misses.
• Nice to have Workday Extend experience, familiarity with integrations such as SAP to Workday, Smartsheets, and prior consulting experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the testing function across the Workday HCM project.
• Drive UAT coordination and execution with clear timelines and coverage.
• Partner closely with business stakeholders and UAT testers.
• Elevate testing reporting and communication to executive sponsors.
• Track progress, risks, and missed deliverables, and course-correct proactively.
• Establish structure, accountability, and visibility across the testing lifecycle.
• Ensure alignment between functional and technical teams.
• Oversee data validation, migration, and reorganization testing.
• Support Workday Extend testing for custom workflows, dashboards, and integrations.
• Identify gaps and drive continuous improvement in process, documentation, and execution.
