Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a senior Testing Lead to elevate the Workday HCM testing function. The leader will own test strategy and governance while performing hands-on test execution on a remote, contract basis.

You will coordinate UAT, create testing artifacts, validate migrations, support Workday Extend components, and deliver concise updates to executive stakeholders. Collaboration with business and technical teams is essential, with risk tracking and proactive issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Senior-level Testing Lead with leadership and hands-on testing required.
• End-to-end UAT leadership and coordination proven.
• Workday experience, preferably in HCM.
• Experience with data-heavy testing: validation, migration, and integration.
• Effective communication with executive stakeholders and comfort presenting to C-level sponsors.
• Manual QA and UAT coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Nice to have: Workday Extend; SAP-to-Workday integrations; Smartsheets; consulting experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the testing function across the Workday HCM project.
• Drive UAT coordination and execution with clear timelines and coverage.
• Partner closely with business stakeholders and UAT testers.
• Elevate testing reporting and communication to executive sponsors.
• Track progress, risks, and missed deliverables, and course‑correct proactively.
• Establish structure, accountability, and visibility across the testing lifecycle.
• Ensure alignment between functional and technical teams.
• Oversee data validation, migration, and reorganization testing.
• Support Workday Extend testing for custom workflows, dashboards, and integrations.
• Identify gaps and drive continuous improvement in process, documentation, and execution.
