Job summary

Texas State Technical College is seeking a Workday Student Support Specialist to optimize the Workday Student system, ensure data integrity, and assist with configuration for enrollment needs. You will support end users, run reports, and help implement process improvements in a hands-on, collaborative environment.

The role requires 2–3 years in enrollment technology support (preferably Workday), plus strong Excel skills and effective communication.

Qualifications

2-3 years of experience in Enrollment technology support, preferably in Workday.
Familiarity with Workday modules and business process configuration.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort learning reporting tools.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support the configuration and maintenance of Workday Student modules such as Admissions, Records, Financial Aid, Advising.
Assist in testing system changes and implementing updates or enhancements.
Maintain business processes and configuration documentation.
Maintain and audit employee data for accuracy and compliance within Workday.
Create and run basic to intermediate Workday Student reports and dashboards for internal use.
Assist in data analysis for Enrollment metrics and ad-hoc requests.
Respond to and resolve routine Workday Student system issues and service requests.
Escalate more complex issues to senior analysts or IT, as needed.
Provide basic training to new Workday Student users and serve as a resource for common system questions.
Work with Enrollment stakeholders to understand process needs and assist with system configuration to support those needs.
