Job summary

Cabot Corporation is seeking a Senior Workday Reporting Analyst to design, build, maintain, and optimize Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics that support data-driven decision-making across HR and the wider business. This role partners with senior stakeholders across HR, Finance, Digital, and others, reporting to the Head of HRIS.

The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of hands-on Workday reporting experience, strong analytical capabilities, and Workday certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of hands-on Workday reporting experience.
• Strong analytical capability and understanding of Workday data structures, calculated fields, security, and business processes.
• Workday Reporting (Pro or Partner Certified) preferred.
• Experience in HCM, Learning, Recruiting, or Compensation desirable; willingness to build expertise in one or more areas.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, maintain, and optimize Workday reports, including custom, advanced, matrix, composite, dashboard, and self-service reporting solutions.
• Create and maintain calculated fields, prompts, filters, business objects, report definitions, custom dashboards, and hubs.
• Partner with HR, Digital, Finance, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate requirements into reporting solutions.
• Serve as an advisor across Workday functional areas for reporting strategy and data lake integration.
• Ensure reports are accurate, secure, scalable, and compliant with data governance and SOX.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and support UAT and reporting improvements.
• Support Workday releases by assessing impacts and updating reports and documentation.
