Job summary

Guild is seeking a Senior Manager, People Tech to lead the configuration, administration, and ongoing operation of Workday and related People Systems. You will partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable configurations and deliver reliable, quality-enhancing solutions across the business.

You will drive continuous improvement, supervise a small team, and ensure alignment with SOC II controls and audits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years configuring, administering, and supporting one or more enterprise business systems within a functional area.
• Proven track record of leading improvement projects with measurable results in operational efficiency or service quality.
• Strong understanding of business processes, with the ability to translate requirements into scalable system configurations.
• Experience leading and developing a small team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Knowledge of SOC II compliance and experience supporting internal and external audits with access and change controls.
• Knowledge of Agile or other iterative project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Own the configuration, administration, and day-to-day operation of the Workday and related systems.
• Design, configure, and maintain system functionality, diagnose and resolve issues, and deliver enhancements and releases.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, recommend solutions, and ensure quality through testing.
• Identify and implement process and automation improvements within the functional area, and stay current on system updates and releases.
