Job summary

Guild, headquartered in Denver with roles across the US, seeks a Senior Manager, People Tech to lead configuration, administration, and optimization of Workday and related systems. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver scalable solutions, and drive continuous improvement of HR tech processes.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in enterprise systems, strong experience in SOC II and Agile, and a proven track record of leading small teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years configuring, administering, and supporting one or more enterprise business systems within a functional area.
• Proven track record of leading improvement projects with measurable results in operational efficiency or service quality.
• Strong understanding of business processes, with the ability to translate requirements into scalable system configurations.
• Experience leading and developing a small team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Knowledge of SOC II compliance and experience supporting internal and external audits with access and change controls.
• Knowledge of Agile or other iterative project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Workday Ownership: Own the configuration, administration, and day-to-day operation of the systems, ensuring reliability, data integrity, and alignment to business processes.
• System Configuration and Support: Design, configure, and maintain system functionality, diagnose and resolve issues, and deliver enhancements and releases for the systems in scope.
• Requirements and Solution Delivery: Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, recommend solutions within the functional area, and ensure quality through testing.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process and automation improvements within the functional area, and stay current on system updates and releases.
