VirtualResource (VR) is a boutique consultancy specialising in HR systems and Workday. We are seeking an experienced Workday Payroll Consultant with a focus on US and Canadian payroll to implement, optimize, and support client Workday payroll solutions.

You will guide clients through best practices, refine configurations, and ensure compliant, smooth payroll operations across their Workday landscape, delivering precise, proactive service and measurable client outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on Workday Payroll config experience including Canadian payroll.

• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and reporting for Canada and US.
• Ability to review and refine payroll configurations and processes.
• Familiarity with Workday modules: Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking.
• Workday Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support deployment, configuration and post-implementation support of Workday Payroll with focus on Canadian and US payroll.
• Partner with client Payroll leads to analyze, enhance configurations and processes.
• Manage functional adjustments and assess impacts across modules.
• Support clients in troubleshooting payroll issues and optimize system performance.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking teams to ensure seamless integrations.
• Prioritize and respond to client cases with high service levels.
