Job summary

VirtualResource, a boutique HR and Workday consultancy, seeks an experienced Workday Project Manager to lead payroll-centric deployments across the Workday ecosystem. You will manage end-to-end delivery, coordinating with Workday functional consultants, payroll teams, technical specialists, and client leadership to ensure projects stay on time, within scope, and aligned to business goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing Workday projects as a Project Manager.
• Experience delivering Payroll projects within Workday Payroll or HR/Payroll transformations.
• Strong project management skills with multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Managing multiple Workday projects from initiation through delivery.
• Developing and maintaining project plans, RAID logs, governance documentation, and reporting.
• Leading stakeholder engagement across client and delivery teams.
• Coordinating cross-functional Workday teams (Functional, Payroll, Integration, Data Conversion, Testing, Change Management).
• Managing scope, budget, risks, issues, dependencies, and escalation.
• Supporting Workday Payroll implementations and country rollouts.
