Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Workday Payroll functional expert to join our client delivery teams in a role spanning implementation and post-production support. You will develop deep knowledge across HCM, Finance, Time Tracking, Absence, and Integrations, while mentoring colleagues and driving project momentum.

Responsibilities include engaging with clients, configuring Workday modules, and ensuring smooth production operation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Workday experience in an implementation or post-production environment support capacity.
• Experience gathering requirements, designing, prototyping, testing, and deploying solutions to meet client requirements.
• Subject Matter Expertise in Payroll with proactive problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify strategies, risks, and options while recommending approaches and mitigations to meet client/functional requirements.
• Configure and test with other teams/vendors to ensure no impact to production environment.
• Mentor consultants and analysts and support shadow assignments.
• Drive project or ticket by making decisions and recommending best practices.
• Meet utilization goals and contribute to post-production initiatives.
• Execute day-to-day Workday project or ticket activities for multiple clients.
