Cognizant Workday Practice seeks a Data Consultant with experience in Workday Financials and finance data transformation. You will guide clients through transformation, implementation, and operation phases of a Workday Financials program, focusing on data migration, validation, and optimisation.

The role suits self-starters who work across multiple clients and engage in all phases of Workday system implementations, supported by mentors and learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, MIS, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in ERP data conversion or financial systems implementation.
• Experience with Workday Financials is essential.
• Understanding of financial data structures, including General Ledger, transactions, and reporting frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Become a Workday Financials Data expert, with knowledge of design, configuration, testing, and implementation.
• Partner with project teams and clients to deliver high-quality outcomes across all implementation phases.
• Utilize Workday tools to support migrations, including tenant-to-tenant migrations.
• Design and develop data tracking, reconciliation, and monitoring tools for data accuracy and integrity.
• Map and convert data sources into templates aligned to Workday Financials structures.
• Guide clients through data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading processes.
• Support data migration activities, including loading financial data and moving configurations between tenants.
