Job summary

THE·TEAM is seeking a Workday Payroll Analyst to support, maintain, and enhance the Workday Payroll module in a high-volume U.S. and Canada environment.

This role emphasizes system analysis, configuration, reporting, testing, integrations, and process improvement. Prospective candidates should have hands-on Workday Payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to diagnose issues in real time during payroll cycles.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of combined payroll, HRIS, payroll systems, or Workday Payroll experience.
• Hands-on Workday Payroll module experience is required.
• Experience supporting Workday Payroll in a functional, analytical, or technical capacity.
• Experience with U.S. and Canada payroll environments, or direct U.S. payroll experience with strong ability to support Canada payroll requirements.
• Experience supporting payroll for exempt and non-exempt employee populations.
• Experience working in a high-volume payroll environment.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and multi-entity or complex organizational structures.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, reconciliations, and large data analysis.
• Ability to troubleshoot payroll system issues and distinguish configuration, data, integration, and processing issues.
• Experience creating, running, validating, or maintaining Workday payroll reports or payroll audit reports.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a payroll-side functional and technical SME for the Workday Payroll module.
• Support Workday Payroll configuration, reports, tests, and integrations.
• Diagnose and correct payroll issues in real-time during processing cycles.
• Collaborate with HRIS, IT, Payroll, Benefits, Finance and vendors to implement solutions.
• Build and validate Workday payroll reports, dashboards, and audit outputs.
• Support Workday EIBs and payroll data loads.
• Participate in Workday release management and testing.
• Support adjacent Workday modules affecting payroll.
