Talentify in Acton, MA is seeking a Payroll Analyst to manage the end-to-end US biweekly payroll for 3,000+ employees using Workday. This on-site role (~3 days per week) also serves as the primary backup for payroll processing in Canada, Mexico, and Costa Rica.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years of multi-state payroll experience, and proven Workday Payroll expertise. Strong attention to detail and independent work style are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, accounting, business, or related field.
• At least 5 years of hands-on, multi-state payroll processing experience.
• Proven Workday Payroll experience required.
• Experience with Canada, Mexico, and/or Costa Rica payroll preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end US biweekly payroll for 3,000+ employees in Workday.
• Audit payroll data (hours, bonuses, deductions, taxes) for accuracy.
• Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate reports post-processing.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and inquiries with high service levels.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and taxes.
• Assist with year-end processes (W-2s) and tax form distribution.
• Support global payroll continuity as backup for Canada, Mexico, and Costa Rica.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance to maintain data integrity across systems.
