Job summary

Vale Global is seeking an experienced Workday Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking Lead to own delivery across Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking. The role includes leading design sessions, configuring and testing, and supporting customers through go-live.

You will run requirements workshops, provide hands-on configuration, and advise on Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, Benefits and Core HCM connections. Strong leadership and certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Strong Workday Payroll experience with Absence and Time Tracking.
• Experience leading end-to-end Workday implementations.
• Current Workday Partner certification.
• Workday US/Canada Payroll certification.
• Hands-on configuration and solution design experience.
• Experience leading customer workshops and managing senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently within a delivery team.

Responsibilities

• Lead Workday Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking delivery.
• Run requirements gathering and design workshops with customers.
• Provide hands-on configuration and support throughout implementation.
• Advise on connections between Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, Benefits and Core HCM.
• Lead testing, issue resolution, deployment and go-live activities.
• Identify delivery risks and support practical design decisions.
• Collaborate with functional, technical and project delivery teams.
• Mentor junior Workday consultants and provide post-production guidance.
