Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on Workday integration experience.
• Strong expertise in Workday SOAP APIs, REST APIs, data model and process behavior.
• Proven ability to construct API requests and troubleshoot at the request/response level.
• Fundamentals in integration and software engineering: deterministic, observable, and resilient designs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Workday integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, Workday data model, and business processes.
• Construct and troubleshoot XML payloads, API requests/responses, and error handling.
• Build deterministic, observable integrations with proper validation, logging, and retries.
• Diagnose issues by analyzing API data, Workday state, and data sequencing across systems.
• Collaborate with teams to support orchestration using Power Automate and APIs.
• Ensure integrations respect system boundaries and business rules.
