Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a senior, hands-on Workday integration Sr Analyst with deep expertise in Workday APIs, data modeling, and integration architecture. The role focuses on designing, building, and troubleshooting API-driven integrations between Workday and enterprise platforms, with Power Automate as an orchestration layer.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of hands-on Workday integration experience and strong knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, data models, and business process behavior.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on Workday integration experience.
• Strong expertise in Workday SOAP APIs, REST APIs, data model and object relationships.
• Proven ability to construct API requests manually when needed and troubleshoot failures at the request/response level.
• Understanding of integration security and authentication patterns; design principles for deterministic, observable integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Workday integrations using Workday REST and SOAP APIs.
• Construct and troubleshoot XML payloads and API requests; manage responses and errors.
• Build integrations with deterministic execution, validation before write-back, and robust retry strategies.
• Diagnose integration issues by analyzing API data, Workday BPM state, and configuration.
• Collaborate with engineering to support orchestration using Power Automate and other layers.
• Ensure integrations respect system boundaries and data integrity across systems.
