Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a senior Workday Integration Sr Analyst to design, build, and troubleshoot API-driven integrations between Workday and enterprise platforms. The role focuses on Workday REST and SOAP APIs, data models, and integration architecture to ensure deterministic and observable integrations.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of Workday integration experience, strong engineering fundamentals, and collaboration with teams leveraging Power Automate and other API layers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree OR significant related work experience beyond the minimum for the position.
• 4+ years hands-on Workday integration experience with REST/ SOAP APIs and data model.
• Strong ability to construct API requests manually and troubleshoot at request/response level.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Workday integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, Workday data model, and business process logic.
• Build and troubleshoot XML payloads, API requests/responses, and authentication contexts.
• Ensure deterministic, observable, and auditable integrations with robust error handling and retries.
• Diagnose integration issues by analyzing API data, Workday processes, and cross-system sequencing.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support orchestration via Power Automate and API layers.
• Respect system boundaries and ensure Workday rules and approvals govern updates.
