Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a senior Workday Integration Sr Analyst (Location Flexible). You will design, build, and troubleshoot API-driven integrations between Workday and enterprise platforms, with Workday as the system of record and Power Automate as an orchestration layer.

The ideal candidate combines deep knowledge of Workday APIs, data structures, and integration engineering principles to deliver deterministic, observable, and secure integrations across multi-system environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on Workday integration experience.
• Strong expertise in: Workday SOAP APIs (Web Services), Workday REST APIs, Workday data model and object relationships.
• Proven ability to construct API requests manually and troubleshoot failures at the request/response level.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Workday integrations using: Workday REST APIs, Workday SOAP APIs (Web Services), Workday data model and business process logic.
• Construct and troubleshoot XML payloads and API requests; handle responses and errors; manage authentication and security.
• Build integrations that are deterministic, observable, and resilient, with robust error handling and retry strategies.
• Diagnose integration issues by analyzing raw API data, Workday BP state, and cross-system data sequencing.
• Partner with engineering to support orchestration patterns using Power Automate and API layers.
