AAA Mountain West Group in Walnut Creek, CA, seeks a Senior Workday HRIS Systems Analyst to shape the HR technology ecosystem and direct the design, strategy, and architecture of HRIS across HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT platforms.

The role requires 8+ years of HRIS experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and mastery of Workday architecture; Workday Pro or HRIP certification is preferred. Hybrid work in Walnut Creek, with relocation not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 8+ years of related HRIS experience (or 6+ with Master’s).
• Preferred: Workday Pro or HRIP Certification.
• Proven track record leading enterprise HR transformation projects or global Workday deployments.
• HRCM in Workday experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architect enterprise-wide HR technology frameworks and data flows.
• Evaluate new HR tech, AI-enabled automation, and vendor solutions.
• Oversee cross-system integration (EIBs, Studio, APIs) with Payroll, Benefits, IT.
• Lead governance, security architecture, and compliance across HR platforms.
• Mentor junior and senior HRIS analysts and align with executives.
