Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an experienced Workday Time, Absence and Payroll analyst to optimize configuration and support for complex union contracts and absence rules. The HR Systems Analyst III collaborates with COEs, Payroll, HR Operations, and Workday Engineers to deliver scalable solutions and governance.

The role focuses on designing, testing, and deploying changes, maintaining data integrity, and driving continuous improvement across Workday modules.

Qualifications

• 4-7+ years hands-on Workday HRIS experience.
• Deep understanding of Workday capabilities and configuration.
• Ability to diagnose system issues and present scalable solutions.
• Delivers high-quality work within timelines.
• Works well across HR, IT, engineers, and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identifies challenges, designs scalable Workday configuration improvements.
• Designs and configures complex Workday processes, rules, alerts, and templates.
• Owns end-to-end module impacts and configuration integrity.
• Mentors junior analysts and supports Tier 1/2 HR teams.
• Leads release impact reviews, testing, and UAT coordination.
