Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an experienced HR Systems Analyst III to optimize Workday Time, Absence and Payroll configurations and governance. You will translate business needs into scalable Workday design, partner with COEs, Payroll, and HR Operations, and lead complex workstreams and testing across modules.

You will mentor junior analysts, support releases, and maintain data integrity while guiding tiered HR support teams and engineering partners on integrations and security.

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years hands-on Workday HRIS experience.
• Deep understanding of Workday capabilities and configuration.
• Ability to diagnose system issues and present scalable solutions.
• Delivers high-quality work within timelines.
• Works well across HR, IT, engineers, and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure complex Workday business processes, rules, calculations, and alerts.
• Primary owner of complex workstreams with end-to-end module impact responsibility.
• Mentor HR Systems Analyst(s) II and guide Tier 1/2 support teams.
• Lead semi-annual release reviews, remediation, and regression testing.
• Coordinate UAT with COEs and HR Operations.
• Collaborate with Workday Engineers on feasibility and migrations.
• Document configuration decisions and migration procedures.
