Job summary
Beth Israel Lahey Health in Boston is seeking a Senior Workday Technical Engineer to design, develop, and support the Workday ERP platform across SCM, Finance, HCM, Payroll and Research Grants. You will serve as a hands-on technical expert delivering scalable, secure solutions and orchestrations.
The ideal candidate has 7+ years in ERP tech, strong Workday integrations (Studio, EIB, Core Connectors), API frameworks, and familiarity with AI/ML to boost automation and insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years in enterprise ERP technical roles, with 4+ years hands-on Workday support.
- Experience across SCM, Finance, HCM, Payroll and/or Research Grants.
- Strong Workday integrations capabilities and familiarity with Extend, Orchestrate, and API-based frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Serve as technical SME across SCM, Workday Finance, Research Grants, HCM, and Payroll.
- Design and develop scalable Workday solutions per enterprise standards.
- Build and maintain Workday Extend apps and real-time/batch integrations.
- Support Workday Orchestrations and automation across systems.
- Provide guidance, code reviews, and mentoring to junior engineers.
- Create architecture docs and integration specs.
