Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill seeks a Senior Workday Analyst in People Technology (Compensation) to lead Core/Advanced Compensation initiatives and optimize Workday configurations. The role supports a people-centric employer strategy and requires strong HRIS experience, especially with Workday, in a hybrid model with 2 onsite days weekly at Newport Beach, CA or Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities include stakeholder collaboration, system admin duties, UAT leadership, data integrity, and process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, HR, or a related field preferred.
• 5–8 years of HRIS experience with Workday, including admin/configuration.
• Subject matter expertise in HCM and compensation platforms; knowledge of Recruiting/Journeys/Learning/Paradox preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple medium to large projects and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Understanding IT processes and integration with HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects focused on Core/Advanced Compensation enhancements from start to finish.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into system solutions.
• Act as SME and admin for People Tech systems; ensure data integrity.
• Provide leadership in UAT and system upgrades.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve UX.
• Develop documentation, guides, training materials.
• Support production issues with case management and root-cause analysis.
• Guide the team on best practices for system utilization.
