Job summary

SSM Health is seeking a principal-level Workday People Analytics lead to shape analytics strategy and partner across HR, operations, finance, and technology. You will translate complex HR data into actionable insights for senior leadership and influence workforce planning and performance.

The role supports flexible hybrid or remote work arrangements, with a focus on implementing advanced reporting tools and governance to ensure data integrity and business impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience or education.
• Five years' experience in workforce analytics, HR data analysis, or a related field.
• Expertise in Workday People Analytics, Workday HCM reporting, and workforce analytics.
• Proven experience developing and interpreting dashboards, KPIs, and advanced Workday reports to support business decision making.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex analytics into actionable business recommendations and present insights to executive leadership.
• Strong skills in data governance, data quality management, and ensuring the integrity of analytics outputs.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Partners with leadership to develop a comprehensive Workday People Analytics strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives.
• Establishes and maintains robust data governance policies to ensure data quality, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Partners with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and opportunities for analytics-driven improvements.
• Defines KPIs in collaboration with HR leadership and monitors them to measure HR initiatives.
• Stays informed of industry trends to implement advanced Workday reporting and analytics tools.
• Creates and delivers insightful reports and visualizations to senior leadership with actionable recommendations.
• Plans analytics projects and ensures delivery aligns with business goals.
• Proficiency in Workday HCM, Workday Reporting tools, Power BI, SQL Server, Workday Prism, and/or Workday People Analytics.
• Interprets complex data sets and provides actionable insights.
• Understands HR processes, workforce planning, and regulations.
