Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Senior Engineer, Workday AI Developer to drive intelligent HR solutions across HR and technology teams. The role emphasizes extending Workday, integrating AI capabilities, and delivering automated, secure workflows for HR processes.

You will work with Workday Extend, Sana experiences, and custom agents, building scalable, secure production solutions while aligning with governance and security standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting Workday Extend applications in production.
• Strong understanding of Workday security, data models, reporting, integrations, and tenant configuration.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities to improve HCM processes using Workday Extend and AI capabilities.
• Design, build, test, deploy, and support Extend applications that simplify HR processes for employees and HR teams.
• Develop proofs of concept and rapidly iterate with stakeholders toward production-ready solutions.
• Establish standards for Extend/AI solutions including testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Integrate Workday with third-party platforms using REST and SOAP APIs and Workday Studio.
