Job summary

Baker Tilly is hiring a Workday Adaptive Planning Senior Consultant for our Digital Advisory Services practice. You will implement, support, and optimize Workday Adaptive Planning to improve clients’ financial planning, forecasting and reporting capabilities in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

As part of the team, you will deliver defined workstreams, mentor junior staff, and partner with clients to drive measurable business value while traveling up to 20% to support diverse

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; majors in accounting, finance, analytics, MIS or information systems preferred.
• Experience in EPM, FP&A, financial systems, or consulting is preferred.
• Workday Adaptive Planning or financial systems experience preferred.
• Strong experience in integrating data from ERP systems using JavaScript and SQL.
• Minimum 3 years corporate financial accounting experience required.
• Minimum 1 year corporate financial planning experience required.
• Solid understanding of financial planning, forecasting and reporting; FP&A experience preferred.
• Strong background in financial reporting and data flows preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using data to create efficiencies and better decision-making.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and teams.
• Able to articulate business value of system enhancements or process changes.
• Able to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Able to travel approximately 20%.

Responsibilities

• Deliver implementation workstreams and develop expertise in Workday Adaptive Planning configuration.
• Mentor associate consultants and serve as a trusted project team member.
• Support Workday Adaptive Planning projects from discovery to deployment with quality deliverables.
• Map client operations and define goals for planning cycles and key metrics.
• Build and maintain financial forecasting models aligned with client needs.
• Configure integrations to consolidate data from ERP systems.
• Automate workflows and reports to improve efficiency.
• Train client teams to maximize tool usage.
