Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Workday Adaptive Planning Senior Consultant to join Baker Tilly Digital Advisory Services. You will implement, support, and optimize Workday Adaptive Planning to enhance clients’ financial reporting, planning, and forecasting capabilities.

You will deliver across projects, mentor associates, and help clients streamline processes while working in a collaborative, client-focused environment. Travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; accounting/finance or MIS preferred.
• Experience in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), FP&A, financial systems, or consulting preferred.
• Workday Adaptive Planning experience preferred.
• Strong JavaScript and SQL skills to integrate data from a wide variety of ERP systems into Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Minimum of 3 years of corporate financial accounting experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year of corporate financial planning experience required.
• A solid understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and reporting, with experience working in or with FP&A teams is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel as needed, approximately 20%.

Responsibilities

• Support Workday Adaptive Planning implementation projects from discovery through deployment by delivering assigned workstreams, maintaining high-quality deliverables, and meeting project timelines and client expectations
• Facilitate working sessions with client teams to map out their business operations, define goals for their planning cycles, and identify key metrics that drive decision-making
• Build, configure, and maintain financial forecasting and planning models in Workday Adaptive Planning, ensuring they meet client requirements and align with best practices
• Support the implementation process from start to finish, including configuration, testing, and optimization of Workday Adaptive Planning
• Configure, implement, and troubleshoot integrations using JavaScript, SQL, APIs, JDBC, and other integration platforms to incorporate data from a variety of ERP and source systems into Workday Adaptive Planning
• Help clients streamline their financial processes by automating workflows and reports using system capabilities
• Identify opportunities to reduce the time clients spend compiling data, allowing them to focus more on analysis and strategy
• Provide training to client teams to ensure they can effectively use the tools and systems implemented
