Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Workday Adaptive Planning Senior Consultant to join Baker Tilly Digital Advisory Services. You will help clients implement, optimize, and support Workday Adaptive Planning to enhance financial reporting, planning and forecasting across diverse engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; major in accounting, finance, or information systems preferred.
• Experience in EPM, FP&A, financial systems or consulting preferred.
• Workday Adaptive Planning or financial systems experience preferred.
• Strong experience in JavaScript, SQL, and integration platforms with ERP data.
• Minimum of 3 years corporate financial accounting experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year corporate financial planning experience required.
• Understanding of financial planning, forecasting, and reporting; FP&A experience preferred.
• Strong background in financial reporting, data flows and reporting systems preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using data to create efficiencies and improve decision-making.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with clients and team members.
• Ability to articulate business value of system enhancements or process change.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel approximately 20%.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Workday Adaptive Planning implementation workstreams and develop configuration, integrations, reporting, and advisory expertise.
• Lead sessions with clients to map business operations, set goals, and identify key planning metrics.
• Build and maintain forecasting and planning models in Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Support end-to-end implementation: configuration, testing, and optimization.
• Configure and troubleshoot integrations using JavaScript, SQL, APIs, JDBC, and related platforms.
• Automate workflows and reports to streamline financial processes.
• Identify opportunities to reduce data compilation time and enable better analysis.
• Provide training to client teams to ensure effective tool usage.
