The Boeing Company in El Segundo, CA seeks a motivated Lead Wire Design & Install Engineer to join the Wire Harness Engineering Group. You will develop, document, and maintain wire harness detail designs, establishing mechanical design, manufacture, and installation standards for harness products and components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience with wire harness, electrical and/or mechanical design.
• 3+ years of experience leading technical projects and teams.

Responsabilités

• Support system design, integration, and verification activities across multiple platforms and subsystems.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, interface control documents, and integration plans.
• Perform system-level troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution to ensure operational readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, hardware, and test engineers to resolve integration challenges.
• Mentor early career engineers as appropriate.
• Participate in design reviews, test planning, and execution to validate system performance.
• Provide technical support and training to internal teams and government customers as needed.
• Maintain compliance with security, configuration management, and changing control processes.
• Attend daily engineering and program meetings to coordinate integration efforts and report status.
