Job summary

Boeing Future of Flight is seeking a Wire Design & Install Engineer 4 for a 6-month contract. You will develop and maintain cable/wire harness designs, review results, and document processes for electrical components used in major programs.

You will lead engineering activities and coordinate with suppliers under minimal direction. The role emphasizes CATIA/ENOVIA proficiency and hands-on installation experience, with pay rates listed as a range, and optional benefits.

Qualifications

• CADDStation proficiency required.
• CATIA and/or ENOVIA proficiency required.
• Advanced level in relevant tools and design environments.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs.
• Leads the team to analyze results and performs design reviews.
• Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities.
• Develops complex statements of work, metrics, schedules and budgets.
• Performs technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection.
• Works under minimal direction.
